London : George Virtue, [1842]. A most attractive antique print – the interior of the ruined abbey. Engraved by James Carter (1798-1855) from an original study by the ever-reliable William Henry Bartlett and originally produced for the Bartlett part-work “The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland” (London : 1840-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 141 x 179mm (approx. 5-1/2” x 7”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Richardson (fl.1833-1846) from an original study by the much-admired William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the Bartlett part-work “The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland” (London : 1840-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 146 x 180mm (approx. 5-3/4” x 7-1/8”). Some very faint marks to blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
