[London : Leadenhall Press, 1891]. A handsome view of the bridge from the south-east, with boats loading in the foreground and the dome of St. Paul's dominating the skyline. From an original design by the painter and illustrator William Luker and engraved in Paris by Ch. Guillaume & Cie. for the Leadenhall Press publication "London City" (1891).
Hand touched and finished half-tone process block. Later hand colour. Image area 161 x 217mm (approx. 6-3/8" x 8-5/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

A charming antique print - a view of the original Southwark Bridge, built by John Rennie between 1814 and 1819, as seen from the east, with craft on the water, etc. - engraved by H. Hobson (fl.1814-1821) from an original study by the landscape artist John Preston Neale (1780-1847). Originally produced for the part-work "Beauties of England and Wales" (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 107 x 144mm (approx. 4-1/4" x 5-5/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 104/048.

London : Jones & Co., 1827. A very pleasant antique print - a view of the bridge from the south-east, with lighters and barrels on the shore and the dome of St. Paul's beyond. Engraved by William Wallis (fl.1816-1855) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth century London. From Shepherd's part-work series "Metropolitan Improvements; or London in the Nineteenth Century" (London 1827-1830).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 96 x 146mm (approx. 3-3/4" x 5-3/4"). Slight mark to lower margin, very faint scratch, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 154/013.

A most attractive antique print showing the bridge from the south-west - the City skyline and the Monument beyond, a pleasure-steamer on the river and a rowing boat in the foreground. An intricately engraved decorative border surrounds the image. Engraved by J. How (fl.1832-1834) from an original study by William Tombleson (fl.1824-1846) and originally published with the part-work series "Tombleson's Views of the Thames and Medway" (London 1833-1834).
