London : John Harris, 1815. A pleasant early nineteenth-century antique print - the exterior of the fine eighteenth-century house on St. James's Place. Engraved by Elizabeth Byrne (fl.1809-1849) from an original study by John Preston Neale, and originally produced for the part-work "Beauties of England and Wales" (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 110 x 153mm (approx. 4-3/8" x 6"). Just a touch dusty at one corner, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London : 1878 (or later)]. A charming antique print of Green Park in the early nineteenth century - Westminster in the distance. Engraved from a study (based on an earlier source) by William Henry Prior and originally produced for the part-work "Old and New London" (London : 1873-1878).

Engraved by Thomas Barber (fl.1818-1846) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth-century London. Originally produced for Shepherd's series "London and its Environs in the Nineteenth Century" (London : 1829-1832).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 121 x 148mm (approx. 4-3/4" x 5-7/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 161/114.

[London : R. & J. Dodsley, 1761]. An elegant eighteenth-century print of Spencer House - a building not in fact completed until 1766. "I know not, in England, a more beautiful piece of architecture" (Arthur Young). Engraved by Benjamin Green (1736?-1800?) from an original study by the painter and illustrator Samuel Wale, first Professor of Perspective at the Royal Academy. Originally produced for Robert Dodsley's part-work compilation, "London and its Environs Described" (London : 1761).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 92 x 140mm (approx. 3-5/8" x 5-1/2"). Mild age toning, a very faint crease, but in very good state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 41/037.
