A handsome antique print - an exterior view of the Wren church of St. Benet Paul's Wharf with its garlanded windows, tower and cupola - the church now the London Church of the Welsh Episcopalians. Engraved by William Johnstone White (fl.1804-1812) from an original drawing (dated 1810 and now in the British Museum) by William Pearson (fl.1798-1813). Originally produced for the part-work series "Architectura Ecclesiastica Londini; being a Series of Views" (London : 1810-1823) - "the first artistically competent and exhaustive illustration of the golden age of London church building" (Adams).
