An attractive eighteenth century map of the area lying just to the east of the City of London, extending from Crutched Friars and the church of Allhallows Barking across past the Tower of London and the sites of the present Tower Bridge and St. Katherine's Dock to the Hermitage, and including Tower Hill, East Smithfield, etc. A keyed table gives the names of a further sixty-five smaller streets and alleys.
