A handsome antique print - the exterior of the Wren church of St. Michael Wood Street - demolished in the 1890s. Engraved by Joseph Skelton (1781?-1850) from an original drawing (dated 1812 and now in the British Museum) by John Coney. Originally produced for the part-work series "Architectura Ecclesiastica Londini; being a Series of Views" (London : 1810-1823) - "the first artistically competent and exhaustive illustration of the golden age of London church building" (Adams).
