[London : Cassell & Co., 1878]. A handsome antique print - the glassed-in interior of the great railway station. Drawn and lithographed by "Maclure & Macdonald" as a supplementary presentation plate for the part-work "Old and New London" (London 1873-1878).
Lithograph on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 135 x 202mm (approx. 5-3/8" x 8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

An attractive antique print of St. Pancras Old Church and its churchyard, one of the oldest Christian sites in the country and burial-place of many London Catholics (stemming from a belief that this was the last parish church in England where mass was heard). Engraved by Charles James Bromley (fl.1860-1878) from an original study (based on earlier sources) by William Henry Prior. Originally produced for the part-work "Old and New London" (London 1873-1878).

London : Jones & Co., [1827]. An attractive antique print of the elegant nineteenth century church, built in Greek Revival style by William &.Henry Inwood in 1819-1822. Engraved by James Tingle (1801-1858) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of 19th century London. From Shepherd's part-work series "Metropolitan Improvements; or London in the Nineteenth Century" (London 1827-1830).
