Originally produced for the part-work series "Architectura Ecclesiastica Londini; being a Series of Views" (London : 1810-1823) - "the first artistically competent and exhaustive illustration of the golden age of London church building" (Adams). Below the image are several lines of explanatory text.

Originally produced for James Stratford's part-work series "London; being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson" (London : 1805-1810). "Hughson" was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh.

[London : 1766]. A charming antique print of the interior of Wren's minor masterpiece. Below the principal image two putti display a miniature ground-plan and cross-section of the building. Engraved by Thomas Simpson (fl. 1765-1799) from an original study by Samuel Wale, the first Professor of Perspective of the Royal Academy. Originally produced to accompany John Entick's "A New and Accurate History and Survey of London" (London : 1766).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 141 x 80 mm (approx 5-3/8" x 3-1/8"). Very small and minor mark to right hand margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 44/024.

An elegant eighteenth century print - a stylish view of the pillared and domed Wren interior, with a miniature cross-section and ground-plan incorporated in the lower margin. Engraved by T. White (ca.1730-1775) and originally produced for John Noorthouck's part-work "A New History of London" (London : 1772-1773).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 203 x 244mm (approx. 8" x 9-5/8"). Light old vertical folds, a few faint marks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 51/029.
