London : C. Tilt, 1838. A handsome antique print giving an exterior view of the Wren church of St. Vedast-alias-Foster. Engraved by John le Keux (1783-1846) from an original study by the painter and architect Robert William Billings. Originally produced for George Godwin's serially published "The Churches of London" (London : 1837-1839).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 159 x 89mm (approx. 6-1/4" x 3-1/2"). A few very faint marks to blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 189/051.

London : J. Booth, 1814. A handsome antique print - an exterior view of the Wren church of St. Vedast-alias-Foster - cattle, sheep and dogs in the lane, the shop of a dealer in lace next door. Engraved by Samuel Rawle (1776-1860) from an original drawing by George Sidney Shepherd. Originally produced for the part-work series "Architectura Ecclesiastica Londini; being a Series of Views" (London : 1810-1823) - "the first artistically competent and exhaustive illustration of the golden age of London church building" (Adams). Below the image are several lines of explanatory text.
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 199 x 230mm (approx. 7-7/8" x 9-1/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 129/123.
