[London : 1838 (or later)]. A pleasant antique print - dignitaries unveil a memorial on the river bank, stately barges on the Thames, the town and the bridge beyond. Engraved by Josiah Henshall (fl.1827-1863) from an original study by the landscape painter Charles Marshall. Originally produced for the part-work "Select Illustrated Topography of Thirty Miles Round London" (London 1837-1838).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 113 x 146mm (approx. 4-1/2" x 5-3/4"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 190/031.

Etched and engraved by William Bernard Cooke (1778-1855) from an original study by Samuel Owen. Originally produced for Owen's first series of Thames views - "The Thames" (London 1809-1811).
Etching and line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 127 x 171mm (approx. 5" x 6-3/4"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 106/035.
