[London : 1855]. A striking mid nineteenth-century print - visitors in stove-pipe hats and crinolines tour the wonders of the Crystal Palace. Originally produced as a supplementary plate for the part-work series generally known as "The World's Metropolis, or Mighty London, Illustrated by a Series of Views Beautifully Engraved on Steel" (London 1851-1855).
Tint lithograph on paper. Image area 241 x 187mm (approx. 9-1/2" x 7-3/8"). Slight discolouration to extreme outer edges of blank margins, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 213/099.
