A clearly arranged map on a scale of four inches to the mile - parts of Middlesex and Surrey - an area centred on Teddington and Hampton Wick, and taking in Ham, Petersham, much of Richmond Park, Kingston Hill, Norbiton, much of Kingston, Bushy Park, Hampton, New Hampton, much of Twickenham, etc. Originally produced as Sheet 19 of the 1900 edition of "Bacon's Large Scale Atlas of London and Suburbs".
Lithograph on paper, with original hand colour. Printed surface 336 x 510mm (approx. 13-1/4" x 20-1/8"). Slight furl to central vertical fold, a few tiny spots, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique map.

[London : 1852]. A charming small antique print - Teddington Weir - men fishing - a cottage among trees. An engraving from the workshop of A.H.Payne, originally produced for Payne's "Illustrated London, or a Series of Views in the British Metropolis and its Vicinity" (London: 1846-1847), and here in a slightly later impression.
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 67 x 87mm (approx. 2-5/8" x 3-3/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 207/052B.

A charming antique print showing the locks and the river, with an engraved decorative border featuring swans, flowers, drapes, etc. Engraved by Henry Winkles (1800-1860) from an original study by William Tombleson (fl.1824-1846). Originally published in the part-work series "Tombleson's Views of the Thames and Medway" (London : 1833-1834).
