London : S. Ireland, 1800. A handsome and uncommon antique print of the exterior of Middle Temple Hall. Originally produced for Ireland’s “Picturesque Views, with an Historical Account of the Inns of Court, in London and Westminster” (1800).
Aquatint on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 140 x 174mm (approx. 5-1/2” x 6-7/8”). Faint crease at extreme foot of lower margin, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 81/008.

Engraved from an earlier source by Robert Paterson (fl.1860-1899) and originally produced for the part-work “Old and New London” (London : 1873-1878).
