[Leiden : Pieter van der Aa, 1727]. An early eighteenth-century print of the Tower of London from the river, with the flags of the shipping providing an attractive counterpoint to the towers, vanes and crenellations. Originally produced for Pieter van der Aa's publication "Les Délices de la Grand'Bretagne" (Leiden : 1707). The present edition is dated to 1727.
Etching and line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 128 x 161mm (approx. 5" x 6-3/8"). Old folds, paper very slightly toned with age, but a good sharp impression in very good state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 20/006.
