[London : Cassell & Co., 1883]. A pleasant antique print of the centre of Uxbridge in the nineteenth century - pillared facade and clock-tower of the Market House prominent. Based on an earler source and originally produced for the part-work "Greater London: a Narrative of its History, its People and its Places" published between 1882 and 1884.
Wood engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 104 x 145mm (approx. 4-1/8" x 5-5/8"). Text on verso. In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London] : Nichols & Co., [1815]. A pleasant antique print - Harefield Place near Uxbridge - a view from the bridge. Engraved by John Greig (fl.1800-1843) from a study by Francois Louis Francia. Originally produced as a frontispiece for the 1815 volume of "The Gentleman's Magazine".
