The characters, including Tennyson, Ellen Terry and Queen Victoria, were played by Leonard Woolf, Virginia Woolf herself, Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant, Angelica Garnett, Adrian Stephen, etc., at the play's only recorded performance - in Vanessa Bell's London studio in 1935. Edited and introduced by Lucio P. Ruotolo.
