An attractive antique print of the old parish church of St. Mary Walthamstow - the church in a bucolic setting, with cattle sleeping in the foreground. Engraved by F. Haydon from an original drawing by William Ellis. Originally produced for James Stratford's part-work series "London; being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson" (London : 1805-1810). "Hughson" was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh. SOLD |

A charming antique print - the old Ferry Boat Inn on the Lea between Tottenham and Walthamstow. Engraved by Charles Mottram (1807-1876) from an original study by the landscape painter Charles Marshall.
