[Edinburgh : John Thomson, 1816]. An elegant, clearly engraved antique map of Grenada, originally produced by the Scottish publisher John Thomson (fl.1807-1837) for inclusion in his "New General Atlas" (Edinburgh 1814-1817). Engraved for Thomson by the London engraver Samuel Neele.
Copper line engraving on paper, with original outline hand colour. Engraved surface 244 x 291mm (approx. 9-5/8" x 11-1/2"). Cropped close into margins (where separated from other maps on the same sheet), some very faint browning, but still in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique map.

Steel line engraving on paper, with original outline hand colour. Engraved surface 321 x 392mm (approx. 12-5/8" x 15-3/8"). A couple of faint spots, mild dustiness of outer edges, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique map.
