[Leiden : 1707]. An uncommon early eighteenth century antique print of the mediaeval hall which now serves as a vestibule to the House of Commons. Originally produced for Pieter van der Aa's publication "Les Délices de la Grand'Bretagne" (Leiden 1707).
Etching and line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 123 x 150mm (approx. 4-7/8" x 5-7/8"). Faint old folds, paper a little toned with age, but a fine and sharp impression in very good state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 20/032.

[London : J. Mead, 1843]. A handsome antique print - the interior of the hammer-beamed mediaeval hall packed solid with spectators for the sensational impeachment concluded in 1795. Engraved by Henry Melville (fl.1826-1844) from a study by George Cattermole - based on an earlier print after Edward Dayes. Originally produced for the part-work "London Interiors : A Grand National Exhibition" (London : 1841-1844).

London : Rock & Co., [ca.1850]. An uncommon antique print - an oval view of the interior of Westminster Hall - crowded for an exhibition of pictures. Produced by the London publishers Rock & Co. (fl.1834-1873), founded by William Frederick Rock (1801-1890). The firm specialised in steel engraved vignette views, fancy stationery and Christmas cards.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 114 x 171m (approx. 4-1/2" x 6-3/4"). Minor marking to outer blank margin, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
