London : J. Stratford, 1806. A pleasing antique print of the hall, set among wooded grounds. Engraved by F. Haydon from an original drawing by Edward Dayes. Originally produced for James Stratford’s part-work series “London; being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson” (London : 1805-1810). “Hughson” was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh.
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 115 x 168mm (approx. 4-1/2” x 6-5/8”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : J. Stratford, 1807. A pleasant antique print of the old parish church of St. Mary the Virgin at Woodford. Engraved by John Francis Dauthemare (1781-1848) from an original drawing by William Ellis. Originally produced for James Stratford’s part-work series “London; being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson” (1805-1810). “Hughson” was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh.
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 105 x 165mm (approx. 4-1/8” x 6-1/2”). Slight nick to upper margin, not affecting image; a few tiny specks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London : Cassell & Co., 1884]. A charming antique print – an image of the old parish church (St. Mary the Virgin) alongside another of All Saints at Woodford Wells. Engraved from original studies by William Caxton Keene and originally produced for the part-work “Greater London : A Narrative of its History, its People and its Places” published between 1882 and 1884.
Wood engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 111 x 142mm (approx. 4-3/8” x 5-5/8”). Text on verso. In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
