[London : George Virtue, 1836]. A handsome antique print – a moonlit view of the castle rising above the falls. Engraved by James Charles Armytage (1802-1897) from an original study by William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the part-work series “Switzerland Illustrated” (London : 1834-1836).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 132 x 176mm (approx. 5-1/4” x 7”). A few tiny marks to outer blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 135 x 178mm (approx. 5-3/8” x 7”). A couple of very faint marks to outer blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Engraved by Samuel Bradshaw (1810-1888) from an original study by the much-admired painter and illustrator Birket Foster. Originally produced for Henry Mayhew’s “The Rhine and its Picturesque Scenery” (London : 1856-1858).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 134 x 167mm (approx. 5-1/4” x 6-5/8”). A few slight specks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
