Originally produced for the part-work series “Views in London and its Vicinity” (1826-1834).

Engraved by the highly skilled Thomas Abiel Prior (1809-1866) from an original study by William Harvey. Originally produced for the part-work publication “The Land We Live In” (London : 1847-1851) – and here in a slightly later impression.

London : J. Stratford, 1810. A pleasant antique print – a view of Windsor Castle from the Thames. Engraved by William Hawkins (fl.1784-1809) from a drawing presented by G. Brown Esq. Originally produced for James Stratford’s part-work series “London; Being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson” (1805-1810). “Hughson” was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh.

[London : W. Mackenzie, 1880]. A handsome antique print – Windsor Castle rising above the Thames. A technically highly accomplished production, colour printed in eight or more overlays from separate wooden blocks by Benjamin Fawcett (1808-1893) from original draughts (drawn on the wood) by Frank Lydon. Originally produced for the Francis Orpen Morris part-work “County Seats of the Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland” (1864-1880).

From the part-work series generally known as “The World’s Metropolis, or Mighty London, Illustrated by a Series of Views Beautifully Engraved on Steel” (London : 1851-1855).
