[London : Charles Knight, 1849]. A pleasant oval vignette antique print – a distant prospect of Kilmarnock in the nineteenth century. Engraved by George Dalziel (1815-1902) from an original study by the well-known William Harvey. Originally produced for the part-work publication “The Land We Live In” (1847-1851).

Glasgow : Blackie & Son, . A highly attractive antique print of the town, with games being played on the green in the foreground. Engraved by William Richardson (fl.1840-1876) from an original study by the Scottish landscape painter and pioneer of photography, David Octavius Hill. Originally produced for Hill’s “The Land of Burns, a Series of Landscapes and Portraits” (Glasgow : 1840).
