Engraved by John le Keux (1783-1846) from an original study by William Henry Bartlett, with the figures by the well-known William Harvey. Originally produced for John Britton’s “Picturesque Antiquities of the English Cities” (London : 1829-1830). The plate is dedicated to Henry Carington Bowles F.S.A.

Engraved by John Woods (fl.1835-1855) from a study by Hablot Knight Browne (“Phiz”), which was in turn based on a drawing by Robert Garland. Originally produced for Wood’s “History of London : Illustrated by Views”, first published in parts 1837-1838 and subsequently reissued in various guises between 1838 and 1862.
