[BLOME, Richard, 1635-1705] : TOWER STREET WARD WITH ITS DIVISION INTO PARISHES, TAKEN FROM THE LAST SURVEY, WITH CORRECTIONS. [London : for A. Churchill, J. Knapton & others, 1720]. A fine eighteenth-century map of Tower Street Ward at the south-east corner of the City of London, taking in (Lower) Thames Street, the Custom House, the churches of St Dunstan in the East, Allhallows Barking and St Olave Hart Street, (Great) Tower Street, Mark Lane, Mincing Lane and Seething Lane. [BOWEN, Thomas, 1733?-1790] : TOWER STREET WARD DIVIDED INTO ITS PARISHES ACCORDING TO A LATE SURVEY. [London : R. Baldwin], 1772. A handsome antique map of Tower Street Ward at the south-east corner of the City of London, taking in (Lower) Thames Street, the Custom House, the churches of St. Dunstan in the East, Allhallows Barking and St. Olave Hart Street, (Great) Tower Street, Mark Lane, Mincing Lane and Seething Lane. The map is decorated with a rococo cartouche and the arms of the contemporary alderman, Samuel Turner. Originally produced for John Noorthouck’s part-work “A New History of London including Westminster and Southwark” (London : 1772-1773).
